Canning & Preserving Your Harvest

Learn how to can and preserve your fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed throughout the year. Canning materials will be available for sale after the class.
Denise Schreiber has a rich and varied background in gardening. The granddaughter of Italian immigrant farmers, she has been in the garden since she was 5, harvesting the abundant produce of the family garden. She is an award-winning cook and author of “Eat Your Roses”.
Part of our 2020 Summer Gardening Series, an after-hours gardening workshop or seminar, along with some time to mingle and shop the greenhouse. Wine will be available if you choose to enjoy a glass or bottle with friends. Attendees will receive a $10 coupon (off a purchase of $40 or more) valid for one (1) week from the date of the event.

- Each class is limited to forty (40) people.
- Online registration and pre-payment is required.
- Social distancing required. Masks required upon entry and while social distancing may not be achieved. Masks may be removed once seated.
- Online versions of the class will be made accessible to those who cannot or prefer to not attend in person.
